Science Café: Understanding Cancer Immunotherapy

Stanford Science Cafés are created for the community and designed to promote an understanding of cancer science knowledge and its relevance to personal lives.

We are partnering with the Stanford Cancer Institute for this Science Café to learn and chat about science with a researcher, Roeland Nusse, Ph.D. He will explain the basics of immunotherapy and how it works to treat cancer. He will also discuss how research helps with the development of cancer immunotherapy for patients at Stanford Cancer Institute.
